Personal Stuff:

Susan is an avid folk dancer, musician, and skiing enthusiast (along with
husband, Don.) She has a wonderful sister, Margaret, a professor of
marriage and family therapy at Auburn University in Alabama. Susan is
a docent at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown and is a member of
Svitanya, a Slavic and Eastern European singing group.

Note: My apologies for the spellings of some of the Turkish words; I was unable to find the
letter "s" that had a curly thing under it (gives the sound of "sh"), the u with the dots, or the "g"
with a soft sign above it which gives it more of an "h" sound.)

Music:

Susan leads the international folk
dance orchestra, International
Folk Sounds.

Join the IFS the third Monday of every
month for an international folk dance
music jam. See the links page below
for information and directions.

She also plays contra and square
dance music on the fiddle and plays
folk music and tunes from the 30's
and 40'sat nursing homes.

Most recently, she has become a
member of Svitanya, a women's,
mostly Balkan, singing group.
